Usage
Decode GA4 is distributed via Google Cloud Marketplace and is installed via the Decode GA4 installer app. There is no cost for subscribing to and installing Decode GA4.
Overview
Functionality is delivered via BigQuery Analytics Hub, with regional function sets appearing as linked datasets in your BigQuery projects. Installation results in a set of functions and metadata being deployed in a new dataset in your project, and subsequent execution of the RUN function results in data being transformed and either exported or loaded into your chosen destination.
There is no commitment or cost to sign up, but Decode GA4 must be linked to a live Billing Account, so you will need the correct permissions at an Organization or Billing Account level.
Upon subscription you will be guided through the rest of the process to access and execute Decode GA4, however a detailed walkthrough is provided below. Click on each Action button for additional detail and appropriate links.
Access
To access Decode GA4 functionality, follow this sequence of actions, starting at the Google Cloud Marketplace listing. Note that none of these actions will incur any usage cost from Decode GA4, and there is no monthly or annual fee for the subscription.
